Requirements: A faster than 300 Mhz CPU with at least 64MBs of RAM. Java Runtime Environment (JRE)1.2 or later. Version 1.3.1 or later is highly recommended. These versions were compiled against Java 1.3.1.

The audio streaming capability is not optimised or intended for use over the Internet, though it may work if the connection is fast enough. It is designed to be used over a Local Area Network, including wirelessly. Here are some additional audio related resources and links.

Download and Installation: The files below are ZIP encoded. There is no installation program. After downloading the ZIP file, move it to a suitable place on your hard disk and double click the ZIP file. The contents should be extracted and decompressed automatically. Locate the application files which end in '.jar' ('NodeScan Client 1.0b18.jar', or 'NodeScan Server 1.0b18.jar') and double click them. If the applications do not run correctly it may be because the Java Runtime Environment is not configured correctly or the JRE is not recent enough. The JRE that currently ships with Windows is not compatible.
